Casper Jorna, Circular Economy 100 Program Lead

Casper Jorna leads the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s CE100 business program in Europe, the United States and Brazil. The CE100 brings together leading businesses, regions, pioneering universities, and emerging innovators in a pre-competitive environment to support and accelerate the transition towards a circular economy.

Since its establishment in 2010, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation has emerged as a global thought leader, establishing the circular economy on the agenda of decision makers across business, government and academia.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Casper initiated and led the circular economy programme for mobile telecoms provider Vodafone Group. Through his roles in sustainability, strategy, and business development, he has gained hands-on experience at implementing propositions that commercialise circular economy principles such as handset buyback schemes and sales of second hand devices.

At Powering the change, Casper will be sharing why and how international powerhouses like Google, Danone and Unilever are implementing circular economy approaches, collaborating with emerging innovators, universities and governments in the process. He will also give us a glimpse of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s global initiatives on the new plastic economy and circular fibres.

Casper Jorna will be speaking at the sessions The state of the circular economy and Evaluation and metrics: navigating a brave new world.
